More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Before transitioning into nannying during college, I gained valuable experience caring for children as a behavioral therapist. In my nannying roles, I was responsible for school pick-ups and drop offs, assisting with homework, and providing attentive care at home. However, my primary focus has been my work as a behavioral therapist, where I specialized in developing individualized behavior plans, supporting social skills, or implementing therapy techniques. This experience has given me a deep understanding of child development and behavior, allowing me to create a supportive and nurturing environment for the children in my care.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love engaging children in a variety of activities that encourage both movement and creativity. Playing sports outside is one of my favorite ways to keep kids active while fostering teamwork and confidence. I also enjoy arts and crafts, allowing children to express themselves creatively and develop fine motor skills. Before nap time or quiet time, I like to incorporate engaging yet calming activities to help them wind down. Most importantly, I believe in making the most of every moment- keeping kids active, engaged, and having fun to their fullest capability.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Creating a safe and comfortable environment for the kids I care for is my top priority. I want them to feel that they can trust me completely no matter what. It is important to me that their time is not only just fun but also meaningful, filled with engaging activities and positive experiences.. Instead of worrying about how much time they have left with me , I want them to feel relaxed, happy, and fully present in the moment.
My experience with special needs children...
As a registered behavioral therapist, I have extensive experience working with children with special needs, particularly those on the autism spectrum. My approach focuses on incorporating natural play based therapy to help children develop essential skills in a comfortable and engaging environment. I have worked one -on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior plans, reinforcing positive behaviors, and helping them navigate daily routines. Through patience, structure, and a deep understanding of each child's unique needs, I strive to create a supportive and nurturing space where they can thrive and grow.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments as a nanny is seeing kids genuinely laughing and enjoying their time, whether they. playing alone or bonding with their siblings. There's something so special about witnessing their joy and excitement, especially when they eagerly show me their favorite dances, games or activities after school. I love how their personalities shine in these moments, whether they're teacing me the latest dance trend or introducing me to a game they cant get enough of. Seeing their happiness and enthusiasm reminds me why I love working with children- creating a space where they feel comfortable, valued, and free to be themselves.

Live-In Full-Time Nanny Available in Quincy, MA: Reina D.
Hello there, my name is Reina. I am an honest and loving person, I come from a big family so I've have plenty of experience caring for children, however, I have professionally worked with children for about 3 years now and hope to gain more experience. Most recently, I have been nannying for 2 children; a 2 and 4-year-old. Before then, I worked at preschool as an assistant teacher and although my focus was to teach 3-5-year-olds, I have spent a lot of time caring for infants as young as newborn. Through the preschool, I have earned my first aid, CPR, and medication administration certifications. I have experience with storing and feeding breast milk, and cloth diapers and have no problem with light housekeeping such as: cleaning up after children, washing dishes, children's laundry and meal prepping. I am dependable, trustworthy, patient, caring person, I am COVID conscious and fully vaccinated. I hope you will choose me to care for your children.
