A little bit about me

Hi, I’m Sasha! Growing up in a family that ran a nonprofit children’s organization, I’ve been working with kids for as long as I can remember. Having spent much of my childhood in South Africa, I bring a cross-cultural experience. I’m passionate about creating a nurturing, fun, and structured environment where children can grow. I love creative, hands-on, and outdoor activities, and I prioritize screen-free play that encourages imagination and curiosity. I believe in setting clear boundaries and offering firm, loving guidance to help children feel secure and supported. Most recently, I was the lead teacher at Little Seedlings of Bloomfield Hills, an in-home daycare, where I cared for 12 children ranging from 3 months to 4–5 years old. I absolutely loved working with the children and families there. I am relocating with my husband, which is the reason I left. I believe every child is a gift from God, and that belief is the lens through which I view childcare.
