I was hired on as a new nanny for my previous family and one child was heavily picky on foods. I am passionate about cooking and so I made it into a kid-friendly activity to where the children and I cooked together everyday. While not immediately, the pickiness dwindled away and she now asks for broccoli and carrots for snacks and eats apples and grapes without pushing them away.
