The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nannying moments was when a 10-year-old girl I cared for taught me a gymnastics dance routine she had learned in class. Watching her routine reminded me of myself at that age, and it opened my eyes to the fact that children have so much they want to share and teach us as well. That experience shaped the way I approach childcare I make sure kids know that I’m not only there to guide them, but also to listen, learn, and celebrate the unique things they can teach me. It creates a mutual respect and shows them that their voice and passions truly matter.
