I currently provide after-school care for a 6-year-old boy. I’m also an aunt to 14 nieces and nephews, so I’ve had lots of hands-on experience caring for children of all ages, from newborns to around 10 years old. Being around such a wide range of ages has made me very comfortable adapting to different routines, personalities, and needs.

I enjoy keeping kids active and entertained with things like playing outside, going on walks, doing arts and crafts, playing games, and finding fun activities based on their interests. I try to minimize screen time as much as possible and encourage creative and active play instead.

The most important part of being a nanny to me is making sure the kids feel safe, cared for, and comfortable being themselves. I want parents to feel confident knowing their children are with someone who genuinely cares about them, while still making sure we’re having fun, learning, and creating a routine that works for their family.

One of my favorite things is coming up with fun games that also help kids learn! One of our favorites is “Mr. Fox,” which helps teach telling time but with a fun twist of tag. I love finding ways to make learning feel like play!
