Hi! My name is Savannah Pounds and I’m an 18 year old from Georgia. I’ve been taking care of people from the ages of 9 months to 88 years old, and I’m a responsible, kind, and respectful person. I absolutely love small kids, because they do all the things I love to do such as color, play outside, play board games, watch kids shows, etc. However I also tend to connect easily with all other ages, due to my wide range of hobbies. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have grown up/taken care of the children I’ve lived with. I’ve also babysat coworkers, neighbors, and family friends children. When I was in school I also loved helping the special needs kiddos and the younger students.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Not over disciplining and making sure they understand WHY they were wrong and HOW they can fix it if something happens. It’s also very very important for me to continuously show the kids that no matter what, they deserve respect and kindness as well as showing them that they should give respect and kindness too.

My experience with special needs children...

In school from 2nd grade to 10th grade I was alway a helper in special needs education, social life, and sports related activities. I’ve always felt more motivated to make the next day better than the last for them, which motivated me to do the same for myself.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One time I brought my nephew and his friend to the park, and they had been so absolutely amazing, that we went back to his house to get them a snack and pick candy from the bucket. (I have a bucket of reward candy for when the kids do good and they always get to pick one if they stay good throughout the WHOLE time I’m there.) About 2 minutes after we got back they ran in the house after one another yelling and picked their candy. I opened my nephew’s for him and asked if his friend wanted help, and he said, and I quote, “no no no no no I don’t need help. I’m too good and got my candy from the bucket so I have to open it myself.” When he got it open, he dropped his smarties all over the floor just stared at me. I did everything in my power not to laugh and then let him get some more smarties from the bucket. 😭
