A little bit about me

I have 3 years of experience babysitting children ranging from 1-5 year old to pre-teens . I’ve also have taken care of my younger
siblings/cousins and other people kids with no issues or problems. When it comes to handling a situation where a child is upset or having tantrums I would stay calm and composed to avoid escalating the situation. I would try to understand the cause of their distress by asking gentle questions and offering comfort. Depending on the child’s age, I might use distraction techniques, such as introducing a favorite toy or activity. If the tantrum persists, I would ensure the child is in a safe environment and give them some time to cool down before trying to talk to them again. When it comes to activities I enjoy is a ‘craft afternoon,’ where we make simple art projects using safe, everyday materials. For example, we could make paper plate masks, paint rocks, or create a collage from old magazines.
