Hi guys!! My name is Scout, I have always loved and clicked with kids instantly. I love getting the opportunity to work with kids, especially since I’m the youngest sibling and never got any younger siblings like I wish I would’ve! I always put in an effort to truly get to know the kids and understand them, all of my friends that have younger siblings I have always managed to be their best buddies! Kids are just filled with so much joy and pureness and I value it so much. The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important thing about being a nanny is actually being able to understand the kids and wanting to fully take the responsibility and accountability of taking care of them and being able to be patient with kids. they’re filled with energy and love, they need to receive that back for as long as they can, especially the little ones. everyone’s fragile in their own ways but being able to take the time to understand the kids and meeting the requirements for the parents is a very important part of it. i’m willing to put in the work, it’s something i love doing. kids are just the best!

My experience with special needs children...

When I was in high school I took the peer tutor classes where I would help special needs kids. Sometimes they would be a lot younger, but some were even my age if not a little older. I’ve had friends and people I know struggle having disabilities but I do love the completely different dynamic of relationships you’re able to build with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The very first family I nannied for I absolutely ADORED. They had 3 girls and one boy and the boy was little and would nap a lot, therefore I would be with just the girls a good majority of the time and they all just hugged me and saying how much they love me and they always made a gift or gave me food before I left EVERY-TIME and alwaysssss many hugs and kisses when it was time to leave. Everyone was just always happy to be together doing something
