More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am volunteering on Kids ministry on churches since 1995 , when I was college from now on about 16years. I am parent of high & middle schooler. I am starting my nanny career since March, 2022 from now on. With 2 beautiful and funny toddlers and I am still have cheerful friends with them.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Basically, I want to have talking time( sometime it dose look like talking by myself though) to developing their brain. I believe that exposes like many words and eyes contact and smiles can help their brain develops and social in future. Also, same direction, I play a many classic song and nursery tunes.
I do like taking a walk outdoors rain or shine if their parents okay with that. I did regularly and I learned that it helps kids’s spacial perceptions .I graduated art school so, if age permitted, I can do some art activities (some extra charge) and drawings with kids.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Patience, patience ,
Sometimes, baby has bad days and me , too.
But, patience always bring better results; more fun and better and easy way on future.
Then safety and communication can not be omitted.

The most important part about being a nanny...

That is when I was communicate what their happy eyes and smiles. Whenever I came their room, toddler was jumping on their crib with excitement. Or kicking their feet on their high chair when I visited them.
Also, when I supported mentally their working busy moms who has anxiety as the first kid.
When they were more feel secure and confident as parenting, I felt great as little helper.

Grace W. - Seeking Work in Vancouver

Full-Time Nanny Available in Vancouver, WA: Grace W.

Hello! I’ve been working with kids for as long as I can remember. I have worked in a preschool, as a summer camp teacher, in a nursery, an after school program, finished my student teaching in a kindergarten class, and been a nanny for over 8 years. I graduated Spring 2024 with my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education with a basic math minor. I don’t have a background check done with Sittercity, but I have had my fingerprints done in both Idaho and Washington to obtain my teaching degree. I have a background with teaching children so I can help with homework or provide tutoring if needed. I currently work as a full time nanny with a family for the summer with three families on the side. Once the school year starts, I’ll be looking for a new full time nanny family. I adore children and would describe myself as fun, compassionate, and responsible. I can provide references or answer any questions if needed. Thank you!
