Hello family, my name is sebastian amado i am 27 years old, I am from Colombia and right now im living in Boston- i used to be an Au Pair for 2 years and a half and I have been a sitter for 5 years.

I got a lot experience working as an Au Pair and also as sitter working with other families in states as New Jersey , Texas , Illinois and New York. I have also very good experience managing the house and preparing meals. and for this reason i am sure i have the good skills for this job .

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I started my first experience taking care of children as a music teacher and babysitter for my family member -i spend some time taking care of children and with this experience was when i realized that i would like to continue working with kids.
I moved to Houston TX as an Au Pair and i was taking care of 2 girls ( 3 years old and 4 years old ) and 1 boy ( newborn) i spent 1 year with this family and then i moved to Austin TX where i was taking care of 3 children - 2 girls ( new born and 7 years old ) and 1 boy (5 years old ) i lived there 1 year and after that i moved to chicago where i was taking care of 1 child with ADHD.

Then I moved to Haworth NJ were I watched 2 kids ( 11-10) one with ADHD and Autism. I lived there for 13 months. Then I moved to Warwick NY, I were I took care of a 10 yo kid with down syndrome for over 2 years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love spend time with children throught music and art - painting , dancing , signing , playing instruments and so on... i think art is one of the best ways to spend time with a child and keep her-his attention
also i enjoy physical activities like playing outside , playing with the ball and so on... riding bikes and going to the pool are also special activities to do - i try to teach and have some meditation time with kids as well.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is always have fun with love and responsability - at the end of the day is joy and happines being around the kiddos and have fun with them. teaching them values with patience and love

My experience with special needs children...

I was taking care a child with ADHD and down syndrome and personally was one of the best experiences ever - taking care a child special needs is a door to new experiences and new learnings.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite part of bieng a nanny is when after a whole day of fun and activities , the kid hugs me and thanks me for that - making the kids happy is the best reward i can have from being a nanny
