To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, supportive, and loving environment for the children. It’s not just about keeping them entertained or following a schedule—it’s about building trust and making sure they feel heard, respected, and valued. Every child is different, and being able to connect with them on a personal level, whether it’s through shared interests, consistent routines, or emotional support, is what truly makes a lasting impact. It’s a job that requires patience, empathy, and adaptability, but the reward is seeing children grow and thrive in that space.

My Favorite Nanny Moment:
One of my favorite memories was when the kids and I spent an afternoon baking cookies together. They were so excited to mix the ingredients, roll the dough, and cut out shapes. But the best part came when we sat down to enjoy the cookies, and one of the kids looked up and said, “This is the best day ever!” It was a simple moment, but it made me realize how meaningful it is to create those small, happy experiences that stay with them. We still talk about that baking day every now and then!
