I also worked with children when I was an optometric technician. The most important parts of my job were ensuring the kids were comfortable during the exam, helping them pick out frames they felt confident in, and educating them on how to clean/care for their glasses.

I enjoy doing puzzles, board games, hands on sensory activities, going to the park, nature walk/bug collecting, and a wide variety of arts and crafts.

The most important thing about being a nanny to me is creating a bond with the entire family. They say it takes a village and I want the whole village on the same page wanting what's best for the kids.
My experience with special needs children...
I have cared for autistic children. I worked with the parents and behavior specialists to help establish a routine to prevent the child from becoming overwhelmed. As well as learn what worked best to redirect them, what calmed them, and what made them feel safe.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was when the kids were too scared to invite me their birthday party because they thought I'd be too busy and say no, so their mom invited me without telling them and we were able to surprise them with me and a piñata.
