More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have several years of hands-on childcare experience caring for children ranging from infants to age 17 in private homes, church, educational, and summer camp settings. I have experience caring for children individually and in groups, helping with routines, meals, activities, supervision, and adapting to each child’s individual needs.

I also worked as a Teacher’s Assistant in a Spanish bilingual setting and most recently as a Psychology Intern at Promise Camp, where I co-led a cabin of campers, coordinated daily activities, supported their emotional and social needs, and handled conflicts and unexpected situations.

I completed training in child safety, mandated reporting, lifeguarding, and emergency procedures, and I am certified in lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR. These experiences have strengthened my patience, responsibility, communication, and ability to provide children with a safe, nurturing, and encouraging environment.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy a variety of fun, engaging activities with children, including outdoor play, swimming, arts and crafts, reading, board games, imaginative play, baking and cooking, and age-appropriate learning activities. I also enjoy going on walks, playing sports and active games, exploring nature, and creating activities that encourage children to be creative and curious. I love getting to know each child’s interests and finding activities that match their personality while keeping them engaged, active, and having fun.

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, trustworthy, and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable, valued, and cared for. I believe it is important to be attentive to each child’s individual needs, communicate openly with parents, and be someone the family can consistently depend on. A great nanny should not only keep children safe and entertained, but also encourage their growth, confidence, curiosity, and independence while making sure they feel supported and loved.
