I've worked at a couple of daycare centers as an assistant to the teacher; at an elementary school as a tutor for reading and math; as well as caring for my grandchildren.

I enjoy teaching children according to their ages: fine motor skills, alphabets, numbers, shapes, life skills. In doing so, I create activities that are fun but educational at the same time.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important thing to me is the impact I can have in a child's life. To have parents come to me and express the changes in their child based on what I have done to help is the greatest feeling! Knowing if I can help a child in any way I can is important to me & mostly to the child.

The most important part about being a nanny...
My most memorable memory is with one of the kids I was caring for at a daycare in Germany. He lived a few houses down from me & as soon as he got out of his mom's car he would walk straight to my house & knock on my door (we lived in a four unit building on a military base). Even after spending the whole day with me, he still wanted to be around me & my family.
