I was a lead teacher in the older infant 12-18 month room at a daycare center for a year and infant teacher in the same center for 1 year. I was part of a high school internship in the on-site daycare as well as an intern in a 5th grade class!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love to practice sign language with infants to help build communication skills before they can verbalize. Early exposure to baby safe art and sensory activities are important to me, as well as a combination of activities to build fine and gross motor skills! I love taking kids for long walks around their neighborhood, or to nearby parks and libraries! Anything that gets kids excited and happy i’m happy to participate in! I LOVE reading to little ones and getting really into the characters. I often read a stack of books during mealtimes!
