A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Shaelyn (but I go by Shay most of the time). I’m 21 and I’ve been babysitting since I was 14 and have been a professional nanny for 3 years! I was raised the eldest of six kids, so I’ve been around and helped raise children of all ages all my life. My "nannying philosophy" is that I am simply an extension of whatever parenting methods you use in your family, however, I believe in getting onto a child's level to cultivate a better understanding of their needs and also to be a better nanny/ friend to each individual! The children I've nannying for have taught me just as much as I've taught them :) I adore kids, and love art as well, so crafts are some of my favorite activities to do with children, along with adventuring and exploring outside. I’ve been a nanny for 4 families, one with 4 kids, the eldest being 8 and the youngest being 3 months. I am fully vaccinated again COVID.
