More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked at a facility as a behavioral health associate, where teens with negative behavioral patterns were sent. I have babysat for family members since I turned 15. And as I currently work in the hospital, I occasionally get the opportunity to care for newborns/infants.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
For infants the options are limited, going for a walk around the neighborhood in the stroller, being held throughout the day, playing with toys, and encouraging tummy time! Also a fun fact, the more you expose a newborn to, the more it can aid with all types of development. So if allowed, I do like the idea of taking them to zoo’s or aquarium’s. This idea also follows for other ages as well.
For toddlers I enjoy being able to play with their favorite toys, read them books, tossing a ball back and forth, some arts and crafts if capable, playing music and having a little “dance” party, going to the park and playing whatever game their imagination can come up with or a classic like tag.
Children I encourage to spend more time outside, playing games, being creative, less electronics unless permitted by parents. Helping with homework is a strong suit of mine, during Covid, I was left in charge of my little brother’s education.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure your child is happy, healthy, and safe while you are at work, at a date, attending school, or just wanting some time for you.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with autism, feeding tubes, oxygen tanks/breathing equipment, and many other medical equipment. I do have experience with mental illnesses as well, depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and bipolar disorder.
