Hi, my name is Shakira, and currently an eligibility caseworker assistant for Social Services in Greensboro, NC. I graduated from East Carolina University with a major in family and community services. I was previously a Teacher Assistant for Kindergarten at Hunter Elementary. I am very passionate about working with children and encompassed around their growth. I have previous experience of working with young children ranging from the ages of older 2s-14/15. In high school, I completed internships for early childhood education I & II in daycare facilities. As I stated earlier, I was also a teacher assistant working with a diverse class including those with special conditions. Furthermore, during college I completed an internship working with 40 or more elementary students in a diverse setting. I really love children and believe in the opportunity of taking their needs seriously.
