A little bit about me

Hi there. I'm a seasoned mother of 4 adult children of my own whom all have families of their own now. Since the empty nest, I started driving for Amazon delivering packages. 3 seasons later, I find myself seeking a different path. I'm naturally good with children because my inner child is still very much alive and my energy shows it.
I have a bland social life and am not married. I love being outdoors during all seasons. In recent years I've discovered a passion in foraging for wild edible mushrooms so I spend free time roaming in the woods. Lol.
My dad raised us in an environment with strong family values and morals, which I still believe in to this day, although it seems to be a declining practice.
A basic summary of me boils down to me being a middle aged woman, feeling a decline in my day to day, overall purpose. An opportunity to spend some time with the youth would be healthy for me and helpful for you.

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Several years ago, I nannied in Florida for 2 young boys, 4 and 6. They were non-stop on the move so I worked hard to keep up! We were active on a daily basis, including regular beach trips, nature trails, libraries and Ben and Jerry's!!
Overall, a rewarding opportunity, although temporary.

I babysat irregularly my entire life for kids of all ages, including having my own kids to raise for 20 + years.

I'd consider myself an experienced caregiver of the youth, as well as the elderly, as I also worked in nursing home atmosphere, once upon a time.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Outdoor anything is my first suggestion to kids of all ages, during all 4 seasons.
I can adapt to the interests of all children and find joy in discovering newfound interests with each, individual child.
It's important to me, personally, to be mindful and attentive to integrating fun with education. There's no age limit for higher learning and no reason that it shouldn't be fun to do

Reliably being the coolest, most trustworthy caregiver you can be to the kids while on the clock, ensuring their safety and well being as if they were your own.

My experience with special needs children...

I have had more experience with special needs adults rather than youth.
I am mindful and aware that each situation requires individual attention and requirements.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Well, I can't think of just one specific favorite moment or memory of being a nanny. For me, it's like at the end of each day when the kids are safe and snug in their beds and there's time to reflect on the events and accomplishments of the day, is a favorite moment.

Purpose fulfilled.
