Hi! My name is Shannon, I am 19 years old. I am working towards my degree in early childhood education with a Pre-K-3rd grade concentration. I currently work at a daycare and nanny for a wonderful 22 month old. I typically spend my free time with my six year old sister, whether we go to the park or just stay home and find fun activities to do. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was previously a swim instructor for a little under a year and a lifeguard for two years. I am looking to get back into it soon. As a swim instructor I have taught a couple of parent and child classes and instructed group swim lessons throughout the summer ranging from ages 4-9. I’ve worked in a daycare with children ages 15 months- 5 years for a year now. I nanny for a child 22 months old.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Arts and crafts, playing outside, swimming, finding fun ways to teach the children to read, count, write, etc.
