More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I cared for a pair of two kids, a girl and a boy for a good while. Those two became my family, I took them to school, camp, made dinner, took them to doctor appointments. They looked at me more like an older sister rather than someone being paid to work there.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Outdoor activities, coloring, drawing, painting, arts and crafts (big DIY girl), photography, coding, safe baking, kite flying, bike riding and more!
The most important part about being a nanny...
Being aware/ prepared! Knowing allergies, what the kids like and don't like, etc. As a lifeguard turned nanny I know in a second something could go wrong, so I liked being prepared and aware if something went wrong.
My experience with special needs children...
I have no nanny experience but I was a part of NCL (national charity league) and Girl Scout for 12 years. I worked with special needs people all the time and I also have a cousin with down syndrome.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment has to be when I was nannying my two kids and we were kayaking around a lake and we explored a cool little island! The girl who was around 7 hugged me and said it was the best day ever!
