A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Sharon, and I recently graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Management Information Systems. I’m caring, responsible, and love working with kids! I have one year of experience caring for a 4-month-old baby and another eight months caring for a 3-year-old. As the oldest of four siblings, I’ve always helped take care of my younger brothers and sisters, including my 5-year-old sister.

In my free time, I enjoy playing soccer, going to the gym, and staying active. I love spending time with kids—it truly makes me happy—and I’m also comfortable around dogs. I’m currently working toward my personal and career goals while continuing to do what I enjoy most: caring for and connecting with children.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Caring for a 4-month-old baby for one year and a 3-year-old for eight months, as well as helping care for my younger siblings and cousins. As the oldest of four, I’ve spent years supporting my family by feeding, playing with, and supervising my younger siblings, including my 5-year-old sister.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Playing outside, drawing, reading books, doing arts and crafts, helping with homework, and creating fun learning games. I also love organizing activities that keep kids active and happy, like playing soccer, going on walks, or building things together.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel cared for, valued, and understood. It’s about building trust, fostering their growth, and making sure they are happy, comfortable, and confident while in your care.

My experience with special needs children...

I have personal experience caring for my cousin, who has special needs. During that time, I learned how to be patient, understanding, and attentive to his unique needs. It taught me the importance of empathy, structure, and providing a safe and supportive environment where every child can feel comfortable and included.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moments as a nanny are when I’m able to truly connect with children and see that they feel safe, comfortable, and happy around me. Building their trust and knowing they feel cared for and understood is what I love most about taking care of kids.

Deshaunti S. - Seeking Work in Oklahoma City

Babysitter Available in Oklahoma City, OK: Deshaunti S.

My name is Deshaunti. I’m 18, a recent high school grad with 4 A’s and 2 B’s, and I'm looking for a nanny position. As the oldest of 7 children, I basically learned how to raise a child from the ground up, giving me a massive head start on parenting. I am super used to multitasking, routines, and keeping kids safe. I also take my faith very seriously and lead a daily prayer channel for 611 people, so being a positive role model matters a lot to me. I work hard and stay busy, balancing a job as a hairstylist at my mom's shop on N Rockwell Ave and as a crew member at Raising Cane’s on the Expressway, meaning I can always bring the kids fresh Cane's for a treat! I'm also creative; I published a book on Amazon and host a mental health podcast on Spotify and Apple Podcasts that you can look up on Safari. Balancing all of this means I am super responsible, organized, and I don't flake. I can help with homework, keep a tight schedule, and handle daily routines.

Hi, my name is Madison. I have a three month old daughter that I would be bringing with meand have been caring for kids all my life at my church or just babysitting family friends children. I’m very skeptical about babysitters so I know the fear of leaving your child with someone. I will make sure your child is having fun and safe.
