A little bit about me

I am a current Journalism and Design Major and Dance Minor at Eugene Lang at The New School. I have had many years of experience working with children from the age of 5 months to the pre-teen years. I have been studying in dance my entire life and for 6 years I was able to assist teaching dance classes for children a variety of ages at Fusion Dance and Fitness. I was also able to babysit for a family with one child for two years. I have also had experience from babysitting my younger cousins in my huge family, as well as helping to watch my younger brother and sister. I absolutely enjoy caring for children because I feel as though I am so blessed to have been inspired by babysitters, dance teachers, and other adult care taking influences I had when I was younger. They brought a wonderful light to my life and I feel it is my job now to help return that light, positivity, and care to younger children, now as I am older. I have thus far been given many opportunities to create friendships and great relationships with young dance students and children which has given me a great platform to be a positive influence, a great leader, an inspiration, and a caretaker for these children. As I have shared, I clearly love to dance but I also enjoy singing, music, drawing, painting, writing (as I am a Journalism student). and I played volleyball for 7 years of my life. I enjoy artistic activities and sports as well. I pride myself in also being an honor student and apart of my schools student senate.
