More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes more than 15 years of private family support, long-term nanny positions, family assistant responsibilities, and household management. I have cared for children from infancy through the teenage years, including supporting a high-functioning autistic child. My responsibilities have included daily care, transportation, meal preparation, homework assistance, educational and creative activities, overnight care, scheduling, extracurricular coordination, household organization, and providing families with dependable day-to-day support. As a mother of two college-aged children, I also bring firsthand parenting experience, patience, and a deep understanding of child development and family dynamics.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Activities I enjoy doing with children include outdoor adventures, arts and crafts, reading, imaginative play, educational games, science and STEM projects, baking, nature walks, park outings, sports, and age-appropriate learning activities. With my Fine Arts background, I especially enjoy encouraging creativity through hands-on projects while also helping children build confidence, independence, problem-solving skills, and a love of learning. My goal is to make activities both fun and meaningful while supporting each child's unique interests and development.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is building a trusting, meaningful relationship with both the children and the family. I genuinely love watching children grow, gain confidence, discover their interests, and flourish into their own unique individuals. There is something incredibly rewarding about being part of their journey and knowing that the care, guidance, encouragement, and support I provide helps them thrive.
I also love supporting the family as a whole. When parents feel confident that their children are safe, happy, and well cared for, it brings a sense of balance and peace to the household. Knowing that I can make a positive difference in the lives of both the children and their parents is what makes this work so meaningful to me.

My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children includes providing care and support for a high-functioning autistic child, helping maintain structured routines, supporting social and emotional development, assisting with homework, transportation, extracurricular activities, and creating a calm, positive environment where he could thrive. Through this experience, I learned the importance of patience, consistency, flexibility, clear communication, and recognizing each child's individual strengths and needs. I believe every child deserves to feel understood, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my most rewarding experiences has been working with the high-functioning autistic 9-year-old boy I currently care for. Building a trusting relationship with him and watching his confidence grow has been incredibly meaningful. One day, he told me I was the best nanny he had ever had and thanked me for being in his life. Knowing that I made such a positive impact on a child who means so much to me was both humbling and rewarding. Moments like that remind me why I love working with children and helping them feel supported, understood, and valued.

Hi! I’m Lillia, a 22 year old recent graduate of Tulane University, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Marketing. I’m currently in between graduating and beginning my first full time career, and I would love to spend that time nannying for a great family! I’m extremely responsible, mature, organized, and dependable, while also having a very warm and nurturing personality. I genuinely love children and enjoy being someone they can feel comfortable and have fun with. While my formal nannying experience is on the lighter side, I’m attentive, patient, and confident I would be a great addition to your family. I have a safe and reliable car, am an excellent driver, and am happy to help with pickups, activities, or errands. I’m also naturally very neat and love to clean and organize, so I’m more than happy to help with light household tasks as well. I look forward to meeting you and your children!
