Hii families, my name is Shawna Foley and im an 18 yr old, from Danvers MA. Did American sign language for 3 yrs. Worked with kids who have all different personalities. Im a very outgoing person who loves to be active and challenged, I have patience and the ability to listen to the children. I love children and I'm not in college as of the moment, feeing as though I can learn so much from children, they are so pure and honest, its a little reassuring. Coming from a family of a single mother and two older brothers with different age gaps, sadly with being the only girl I had to keep myself engaged in my own activities, being creative, I feel as though I can make a difference in a kids upbringing or at least make it easier for the parent because I get the hustle. very understanding and very flexible. I would love to hear from some, excited and can't wait to start this chapter of my life helping others and myself with the little bucket of serotonin each child brings to the table.

As they are learning and picking things up from me to add to their character development, so am i. you can learn so much from children it blows my mind. Being understanding, and able to pick things up and move to the next in fast paces

My experience with special needs children...

I used to baby sit my baby cousin who has autism since I was 10 to around 15 yrs old, also in school. love seeing their reactions to different sensory things and movies, their energy and how creatively smart they are. Letting them do whatever they need to do within reason.
