More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have experience working with children of different ages through preschool classrooms, babysitting, and nannying. I’ve cared for infants and toddlers, supported daily routines, meals, playtime, and transitions, and helped children feel emotionally supported throughout the day. I also have over 15 years of experience caring for young children through my church, worked as a teacher at a YMCA summer camp, and taught in a gymnastics and mommy-and-me program focused on building confidence and motor skills through play.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love imaginative play, arts and crafts, reading stories, singing songs, going on walks, outdoor play, and simple learning activities that feel fun and natural. I also enjoy helping children explore their creativity while keeping structure and safety in mind.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is building trust — with both the children and the parents. I believe consistency, kindness, clear communication, and genuine care are the foundation of great childcare. I treat every child as if they were my own and always strive to support families in a way that feels helpful and loving.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with children who need extra support, including helping with emotional regulation, patience, and individualized care. I always approach each child with empathy, flexibility, and understanding, and I believe every child deserves to feel seen, supported, and encouraged.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments is when a child who was once shy or hesitant begins to feel comfortable and excited to see me. Watching their confidence grow and knowing I helped create a safe space for them is incredibly meaningful to me.
