More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have spent most of my summers caring for children, either as a nanny or working at summer camps, where I planned fun activities and helped kids build confidence and friendships. In college, I created and taught an after-school cooking class for middle schoolers, which combined my love for food and education. I have also babysat for family and friends for years, caring for children of all ages from infants to preteens. These experiences have strengthened my ability to balance structure and creativity while ensuring every child feels safe, supported, and excited to learn something new each day.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love creating days that are full of fun, learning, and discovery. Some of my favorite things to do with kids include exploring parks and playgrounds, visiting museums, reading stories together, and doing simple science or cooking projects that spark curiosity. I enjoy turning everyday moments into little adventures, whether that’s a picnic in the park, a scavenger hunt through a neighborhood, or baking something new together. I’m excited to experience all that New York City has to offer with the children I care for, from library story hours to hands-on exhibits and outdoor play spaces. My goal is always to help kids see the world with creativity, confidence, and joy.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a strong, trusting, and loving relationship with the children in my care. Children thrive when they feel safe, valued, and understood, and it is my responsibility to create an environment where they can grow with confidence and curiosity. Being a nanny is more than supervision. It is about guiding, encouraging, and supporting each child while celebrating their unique personality and interests. I take pride in being a positive and caring presence in their lives, someone who listens, inspires, and joins them in discovery and play. For me, helping shape happy, healthy, and confident kids is not just a job. It is a privilege.
