My many years of dedicated work as a nanny and live-in nanny have also given me the opportunity to take on roles in household management, personal assistance and tutoring. I have many years of meaningful experience working in a classroom environment where I have worked as a preschool assistant teacher summer school instructor and most recently as a special education teacher, where I have found my purpose and passion working with special needs individuals.

I know this work to be deeply meaningful, challenging, and infinitely impactful. I have a lot of respect for the immense, often overlooked responsibility that comes with caring for a child. Responsibility over physical safety and supervision, but mostly the responsibility that comes with playing such a fundamental role in fostering the mind, spirit and worldview of a developing individual. For a child, there are a hundred tiny moments every day that we don’t realize will have an immeasurable and lasting impact on our children’s development and the way they see the world. I remind myself often that the way I approach these little moments every day has the potential to inform the way that child understands and moves through this world long after I am gone. I value this responsibility, and I don’t take it lightly when a family chooses to share it with me.
