More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked as an assistant teacher in an infant room for almost two years at Frog & Toad childcare and learning center, LLC. I taught the babies ASL worked on their developmental skills, including but not limited to motor skills development.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Children engage in play to understand the world around them. Play outside engaging with the natural environment (e.g., feeling leaves, digging in sand)
Infants (0-12 months):
1. Use senses to explore and get information about the natural world.
Younger Toddlers (9-18 months):
1. Explore the characteristics of living things.
2. Interact with plants and animals.
Children construct concepts about Earth’s systems, the impacts of human activity on these systems, and Earth’s place in the universe through observations, exploration, and investigations.
Infants (0-12 months):
Explore water, soil, sand, and rocks with adult guidance and support.
Younger Toddlers (9-18 months):
1. Use senses and simple tools to explore earth materials (e.g., digging soil, tapping rocks,
pouring sand)
3. Point or attend to the objects in the sky during daytime and nighttime (e.g., moon, sun,
stars, clouds)

My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with deaf babies/toddlers
The most important part about being a nanny...
we did some ball shake painting, our friends haven’t been too fond of getting cleaned up lately so we did some mess free painting with our spiky balls and some bins. They had a blast passing the bins around, throwing them and shaking them. We also built lots of towers to get knocked over, danced to the same couple of songs and had lots of cuddles.
