Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a former Foundation Phase educators assistant. Former daycare assistant educations. I’ve done babysitting sitting for over 7 years and I have also been a tutor.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Include but ate not limited to going on nature walks, playground time, doing puzzles Brain Games ,colouring/ drawing, reading a good story or pretend reading. listening to and making music as well as dancing( I'm no god at it). Occasional baking and lastly playing board games together.

The most important part about being a nanny is building a relationship rooted in trust, love, and consistency. It’s not just about supervising or entertaining—it’s about being a steady, supportive presence in a child’s life. You’re shaping their sense of safety, self-worth, and how they experience the world. Whether it's through a gentle word, a shared laugh, or simply showing up every day with care and intention, the impact a nanny has goes far beyond the moment. It’s about helping children grow into kind, confident, and joyful individuals.

I have worked hands on with neurodivergent children and along side with their occupational and speech therapist and parents/guardian.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite moments as a nanny was with a child I often cared for. Every day when he left, I’d remind him, “Don’t forget to be a blessing today.” It became our little ritual. One afternoon, he came running back to me, beaming with pride, and said, “Kaina, Kaine! I was a blessing today!” His excitement and the fact that he remembered—and lived out—those words melted my heart. It reminded me how deeply children absorb the love and encouragement we give them, and how powerful simple words can be.
