One of my favorite nanny moments was when one of the children I cared for lost their first tooth. They were excited and nervous, so we turned it into a celebration. We created a "tooth fairy" box together, decorated with it with glitter and stickers. That night, after they fell asleep, I placed a note and a small, thoughtful surprise from the "tooth fairy" into the box . The next morning, they smiled from ear to ear. I felt grateful to be there for one of their milestones as their nanny.
