A little bit about me

I am in a different situation in life than most of the people looking for nanny jobs. I have spent the past 21 years caring for my family, homeschooling my children and teaching online. My babies are grown, but I don't want to be done shaping the lives of youngsters. Every parent knows that there is no-one quite like mom and dad, however, my desire is to provide love and care that comes as close as possible. I am an education major with a special passion for caring for children in the earliest stages of their development. The first few years are so important as your child develops into an amazing, unique little person. My favorite quote is, The art of teaching is the art of assisting discovery, by Mark Van Doren. I may not be mom and dad, but my goal is always to be the next best thing. I see my role as a nanny as partnership with you, giving you the opportunity to be the best parent possible by being an extension of your love and care.
