More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have many years of hands-on experience caring for and working with children of different ages. My childcare journey began at age 14 when I started working at a daycare center, where I continued until I was 20. I also worked in an after-school program and an after-school STEAM program, where I helped children learn, stay engaged, and enjoy a safe and positive environment. I later worked at a school with kindergarten students, supporting them with their daily activities, learning, and development. Currently, I am a cheer coach for children ages 6–13, where I encourage confidence, teamwork, discipline, and having fun. I am also a mother of two beautiful daughters, which has given me even more patience, understanding, and love for children. Through all of these experiences, I have learned how important it is for every child to feel safe, supported, encouraged, and genuinely cared for.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I truly enjoy spending time with children and finding fun and creative ways to keep them happy, active, and engaged. I love going to the park, enjoying the outdoors, singing songs, dancing, and being silly together. I also love building with Legos, coloring, playing with Barbie dolls, and doing arts and crafts. I enjoy activities that allow children to use their imagination, express their creativity, and most importantly, have fun! I’m always willing to get down on their level, play alongside them, laugh with them, and create special memories. I believe children learn and grow through play, creativity, encouragement, and positive attention. Whether we’re creating a masterpiece, building something with Legos, having a dance party, or spending a beautiful day at the park, my goal is to make sure the children in my care feel happy, comfortable, encouraged, and loved. ❤️
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me is making sure every child feels safe, loved, comfortable, and cared for. I know how much trust it takes for a parent to leave their child in someone else’s care, and I would never take that responsibility lightly. I believe a great nanny should be patient, dependable, nurturing, and someone a child can feel safe with. I want the children I care for to know that I’m there to listen to them, encourage them, teach them, play with them, and support them as they grow. Every child is different and deserves to be understood and loved for who they are. As a mother myself, I would want someone to care for my children with love and kindness, so I strive to give that same love, patience, attention, and protection to every child placed in my care.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments as a nanny was during Christmas time. I absolutely love the holidays and being able to create those magical memories with children makes it even more special. We would decorate for Christmas while listening and singing along to Christmas music, and one of my favorite activities was making huge colorful lollipops to decorate the front yard. We also spent time in the kitchen baking delicious Christmas treats together. I loved seeing the excitement and happiness on their faces as we created, decorated, laughed, and enjoyed the holiday season. Those are the moments that remind me why I love caring for children so much. It’s not just about watching them, it’s about creating a loving, fun environment and making special memories they can carry with them as they grow. ❤️🎄

**About Me**
I genuinely love the craft of childcare, not just the day-to-day of it. I'm a children's book enthusiast who loves discovering new titles and thinking about how the right story can teach empathy or spark curiosity. I'm equally drawn to educational videos and content that make learning feel like play, and I'm always paying attention to fresh approaches to teaching kids — a new way to explain a tricky concept, a behavior strategy I haven't tried, or a creative way to keep a child engaged.
I also love collecting practical "hacks" that make caring for children and babies easier — little tricks that save time, reduce stress, or turn a meltdown into something manageable. Whether it's streamlining mealtime, calming an overtired toddler, or building predictable routines, I'm always growing my toolkit. That curiosity is part of why I've stayed in child- and family-centered work for over a decade — every child is different, and I love figuring out what actually works for them.

Babysitter Available in Katy, TX: Juan S.
I’m a calm guy who spends a lot of time playing video games or studying. I really like children; I have three brothers—one is 14 and has special needs, another is 7, and the oldest is 20. I’m currently 18, a student at Houston Community College, and majoring in Business. I played a lot of sports growing up—mainly rugby—and played for the Katy Barbarians for four years. Right now, I’m focused on college, but I’d like to do something with my free time.

I love working with young children and helping parents raise the brightest, kindest children they can. I'm happy to take on household tasks such as light housekeeping, meal preparation and laundry for the children, or otherwise assist the household in any way I can. Additionally, I'd also be happy to provide a resumé and references if desired.
