I enjoy creating fun, engaging activities that support each child’s growth and imagination. Some of my favorite things to do with kids include arts and crafts, storytime, outdoor play, music and dancing, sensory activities, and pretend play. I also love helping with early learning skills like letters, numbers, and simple science, as well as encouraging curiosity through hands-on exploration. My goal is always to make kids feel safe, supported, and excited to learn through play.

The most important part about being a nanny is building trust and creating a safe, loving environment where the child feels supported and understood. It’s not just about watching kids — it’s about being present, patient, and consistent so they feel secure and free to be themselves. I think it’s also important to work closely with the family, respect their parenting style, and create routines that help the child grow emotionally, socially, and mentally.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was during a summer babysitting job where I worked with a nonverbal child. Over time, through lots of patience, play, and consistent communication, I was able to help him start saying his first words. Seeing his face light up when he realized he was being understood was one of the most rewarding feelings I’ve ever had. That experience reminded me how impactful one-on-one care can be, and how much of a difference patience and connection can make.
