The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is making kids feel safe and loved. When they trust you, everything else, like routines, learning, and just having fun, comes so much easier. I also want parents to feel totally at ease when they walk out the door. I’ll show up on time, stick to your routines, and keep you updated, so you never have to wonder how things are going. Your kids should feel cared for, and you should feel like you can relax.
My experience with special needs children...
I volunteered for a year at a pediatric therapy clinic in Austin, where I supported kids during speech / occupational / behavioral / physical therapy sessions. I saw how much patience, encouragement, and consistency help each child make progress at their own pace.
Before that, I worked as a line therapist at a nonprofit in Arkansas, providing one-on-one support to children with developmental disabilities. I helped them practice communication, daily living, and social skills and followed individual care plans closely.
Along with my psychology degree, these experiences taught me to stay calm during hard moments and celebrate small wins. I’m happy to learn and follow any strategies or routines your child’s therapists recommend.

The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite moments was with a sweet, quiet 7-year-old at the pediatric clinic where I volunteered. She didn’t usually look at me much, but one day she walked over, looked right at me, and handed me a drawing she’d made. It seems small, but it meant so much to me. It felt like she was finally letting me in. It was a big moment for her!

Hi,
, I'm interested to work as a baby sitter/nanny for kids. I have an experience of 1 year with 2 kids. I can take care of kids and play with them. I cook food for them and can help in household chores. My elder sister has a kid(boy) and from the moment when he was born me and mother took care of him until I came to US for my masters so I have a very good experience of taking care of children. I love to take care of kids and I can do other works also. Most of the kids are very comfortable around me. I'll make their day as cheerful and exciting as possible.
