Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Having worked at the high school daycare for 2 years I have lots of experience with fun activities and lesson plans. I love playing outdoors, jumping on the trampoline, scooters/soccer, building forts with the kids, hide and seek, various fun play dough, creative arts, baking/decorating cookies (all different age appropriate activities). When we were locked down for Covid I had a preschool age sister and took turns with my sisters teaching her lessons.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Definitely being involved and hands on. Getting down on their level and interacting with the children. Getting to know each child on a personal level and watching them open up with once they get to know you.

My favorite moment is having the kids be excited to see me. I love when they draw me pictures. I have a little boy I watch who is 2 and he always gives me the biggest hug and asks when I am coming back.
