I have worked with children of all ages. I am looking to take a break from my career in the nonprofit industry - most recently with the Boys and Girls Club. With my time off I enjoy hikes with my Fiancé and dog, kayaking on the Tennessee River and doing anything artistic.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have babysat for families while in high school. In college I was a part of multiple child centered volunteer programs. I was an AmeriCorp student in a local elementary school as well as worked with kids in a traditional Daycare setting as well as with the Boys and Girls Club running daily programs for hundreds of kids.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Outdoor activities - playgrounds or parks, basketball, bicycles, chalk, races, etc.
Indoor activities - arts and crafts, sensory play, reading, playing with toys, limited tv/screen time

I have limited experience. When I was in high school I was a peer mentor to a child with special needs. I did babysit for one child with severe autism.
