I worked as a camp co-counselor for 3 years at Clearpool Summer Camp. I worked as a babysitter for a young girl for 3+ years along with a couple other families. I currently work in the late afternoons with a 10 year-old boy on the autism spectrum and have been working with his family for 3 years now.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love playing any outdoor games like tag, red rover, sports and I got a lot others up my sleeve! I also love playing fun pool games. I also LOVE arts and crafts and will always have a fun craft idea! Whatever your activities your child loves I'll enjoying playing with them!
My experience with special needs children...
I have an older brother on the spectrum and I am always helping out with him. I was a part of best buddies in school when I was younger and have taken a lot of classes on children with disabilities. I have worked/ work with two children on the spectrum and love every minute of it.
