"Khadisha has come to babysit my 16 month old son when he can’t go to daycare. He was instantly comfortable with her and was happy to leave me and go to the playground with her. She’s responsible and knows all about babies so I didn’t need to go super in detail about how to do things. She sent lots of photos from when they were out and my kid was smiling and giggling. We would have her back any time!"

The most important part about being a nanny...
Patience and safety!! There is absolutely nothing more important than patience and the kids safety. You are working with kids so you have to practice being calm and subtle because kids don’t listen always but they are still kids. As well as safety! Their parents are trusting you to care for the most important person/people in their lives and you have to care and protect them as if they are your own!!
My experience with special needs children...
I’ve only worked with two families which the kids were non verbal but so calm and the sweetest beings ever
