More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have been babysitting for the past four years, providing attentive and responsible care for children of various ages. In addition, I tutor children after school, specializing in STEM subjects and reading, helping them build confidence and improve academic performance. I also work as a front desk receptionist at a pediatric private practice, where I interact with children and families daily in a professional healthcare setting.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I LOVE anything outdoors and enjoy staying active with kids, whether that’s playing games, going to the park, or just having fun outside. I’m a big kid at heart and have a background in sports, so I bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm to playtime. One of the kids’ favorite activities with me is playing Just Dance, which is always a fun way to stay active and have a great time together.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is genuinely wanting to be there for the children and being fully present with them. Being attentive, engaged, and responsive to their needs helps build trust and a strong connection. It’s about creating a safe, supportive, and fun environment where kids feel comfortable, valued, and cared for at all times.
My experience with special needs children...
In 2024, I babysat a young boy with autism on several occasions, where I learned the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding individual needs. More recently, I have worked with children with learning disabilities through the after-school program I volunteer for. In these settings, I make it a priority to adjust to each child’s pace and create a comfortable, supportive environment. I am experienced in being flexible and attentive to what works best for each child, ensuring they feel safe, understood, and encouraged.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when I babysat a family back home in Georgia for all of spring break. Every day brought something new and fun with the kids, which made the experience really special. At the end of the week, we had a “last babysitting day” party where the parents bought us pizza and we all watched a movie together. It was such a sweet and memorable way to wrap up the week—the family was amazing, and it’s a moment I’ll always appreciate.
