More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
-I’ve volunteered at shelters for the holidays with my Girl Scout troop. We would throw parties and wear pajamas and drink hot chocolate, it was so fun!!
-I’ve moved many times and each time my neighbors happened to have young children that I would watch after school for a few hours.
-I recently worked at a movie theater and special needs groups would come in and I’d get them seated, bring them food, and escort them to the restroom.

-I’m SUPER tech savvy so any video game console we can play
-Swimming, basketball, volleyball, tennis, biking etc
-Playing instruments (piano, violin, flute, guitar)
-Any type of board/card game (don’t worry I’ll let them win)
-Hair care (my faveee)
-Play pretend and playing with dolls/Lego/etc

The most important part about being a nanny...
People often forget children are HUMAN and are not some doll or puppet that can be tossed or bossed around. They have feelings and thoughts. I always try my best to make them feel heard and seen. I want them to always feel they can express themselves freely and feel comfortable around me. Talk TO them not AT them. It’s the little things they experience now that can really affect them later on in their lives.
My experience with special needs children...
-I’ve cared for 2 children with Autism (low on the spectrum), but I’m willing to learn more!!
-If they struggle with general or social anxiety, panic anxiety, or mutism I can accommodate accordingly
