I started nannying for close family friends when I was 12. When I was 16 I got my first full-time position with a 4 month old & I was with her until she was 4 & I moved away for college. I love kids, babies, families & pets. I’m attending college studying to become a nurse to specialize in fertility or neonatal medicine, & I have also completed an education as a nutrition. My goal is to work a job that I enjoy that will also help pay my living expenses:) I’m passionate about creating relationships with parents so I can better meet the needs of your family! The most important part about being a nanny...

I was 2 weeks into my first full time nanny position & my little one was not adjusting well to her mama being gone. I had spent those 2 weeks soothing cries for 20 minutes after her mom left for work. The Monday of that following week, her mom handed me to her to me as she was leaving & she didn’t cry! She nestled into my neck & went to sleep. That was a big rewarding moment for me, because I felt like I was failing my baby, but also her mama & I really struggled with that feeling. This experience taught me that trust takes time, even for babies, so don’t give up, keep doing your very best & trust yourself as much as the parent does.
