More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a substitute teacher for a year and a babysitter for four years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I like any outdoors and indoors activities! I use do activities from building forts indoors to bringing the kids to a water park!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is for the kids to feel like they’re not alone while their caretaker is out being human!

My experience with special needs children...

I babysat a 4 year old kid with special needs for a year. He was a delight to be around. I understood that it had to take some time for him to trust me and I adjusted based on the reactions he showed me.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When the kid that I babysat for that has special needs kid ate and completely finished the meal and that I cooked for him and his brother. It was only the 3rd time I babysat him. It might sound like a small feat but I was ecstatic and it was heartwarming for me because it meant that I was building trust.

I'm really passionate about working with children because I understand how much influence we can have at that age.
