More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked full-time for two years at my mom’s daycare, where I taught literacy to toddlers through songs, stories, and games. I also assisted with daily tasks such as feeding, bathing, and changing.
I also have experience with twin newborns, such as mother's helper and babysitting/overnight care. Currently, I care for an 12-month-old who will start daycare in March.
Additionally, I have been volunteering at my church for the past 9 months, where I am responsible for the 3- and 4-year-old group during Sunday services. I lead lessons, crafts, and occasionally take the kids outside to play.
These experiences have helped me develop skills in multitasking, patience, and engaging children in both learning and daily routines. I am excited to apply all that I have learned to a new job.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love connecting with children through fun, engaging activities tailored to their age.
With babies, I enjoy reading stories, singing interactive songs, and introducing baby sign language to help them communicate before they can speak—it’s incredible to see them express themselves and connect in new ways. I also love using Montessori toys that help develop motor skills and guiding them through the introduction of solid foods. Watching them explore new flavors and textures is such a rewarding experience.
With toddlers, I enjoy hands-on activities like arts and crafts, exploring nature, and creating games together. I also love including them in small tasks where they feel helpful and important—it’s so sweet to see how proud they get.
With older kids, I enjoy board games, cooking together, and cheering them on in sports or hobbies they love. What inspires me most is their curiosity and excitement for learning, which makes every activity fun and meaningful.

My experience with special needs children...
I’ve had experience caring for children with special needs, mostly in a daycare setting. We’ve worked with many kids with autism and some with ADHD, always focusing on helping them socialize and connect with other children. It’s taught me a lot about patience, flexibility, and creating an inclusive environment. While I haven’t worked one-on-one with special needs children, I’m more than willing to learn and grow so I can provide the best care possible.
