Hi! My name is Sommer Revels, I’m 22 years old, and I’m currently completing my Speech-Language Pathology prerequisites after earning my bachelor’s degree in Psychology. My goal is to become a pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist because I have a genuine passion for helping children learn, grow, and communicate with confidence.

I have experience caring for children ages 1–10 through babysitting for family friends, including full-day care, preparing meals, keeping children on schedule, planning fun activities, and creating a safe, positive environment. I’m also gaining hands-on experience by observing pediatric speech therapy sessions and working with children through equine therapy, which has given me a deeper understanding of child development and communication. One of my favorite parts of babysitting is watching children become excited after learning something new or accomplishing something they were proud of. Seeing their confidence grow and knowing I played a small role in that is what makes caring for children so rewarding.
