Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Growing up I was always the “built-in” babysitter, so i’ve babysat all age ranges not only for family but for families as well. Most recently, I got the position of Kids Club Supervisor for Fitness Connection and it has truly been one of the best experiences I have had in the work industry so far!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Being an artist, I love setting up crafts for the kids to not only enjoy but tune their motor skills, such as windsocks, paper dolls, popsicle stick puppets, and my personal favorite PAINTING! I enjoy seeing how each kid is creative in their own way

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, nannying is not just a job. But an opportunity to not only make a difference in your life and path. But also the child of which you care for, adults play a huge role in a young person’s life, and being the best role model for them is what drives my passion, as our children are the future.

My experience with special needs children...

When I was in middle school, I would voluntarily go into the Special needs classroom to make friends with the students, as I just felt inclined. I unfortunately lost one of my friends in that class which had a large impact on me, but it did not discourage me from reaching out a loving hand, but made me even more passionate on being an advocate for those who cannot be for themselves. After working as the supervisor for a few months, I have had a few children with learning difficulties and have learned different ways to teach them important communication skills.
