More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I've worked in a summer school preschool room, I was previously a life guard who also gave kids ages 3-6 swim lessons, I've babysat for many families with children ranging from 1 month old to 8 years old! I have a lot of experience caring and working with kids, I love the responsibilities, care and love it takes to work with children!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Activities outside can include chalking, playing with bubbles, playing with a ball (kicking in yard, throwing/catching small soft balls), playing in water bins, sand bins, playing with any outdoor toys, taking the kids on walks around neighborhood (where family lives), etc! Inside activities can look like playing games, playing with age appropriate toys, make a fun craft, building forts, etc! I am very creative in making a stimulating, engaging, fun and safe environment for all ages!

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, one of the most important part about being a nanny is making sure the kids are ALWAYS safe. I always make sure to create a safe environment for the kids, I trust myself to make decisions I know will be best for the kids and I am extremely responsible for making sure the children are having fun in a safe way! The second most important part about being a nanny for me is building a relationship with the kids, its important for then to know that they can trust me but also know that they can come to me if they are sad, happy, confused or any millions of emotions that kids can have. Making sure the parents/guardians of the children is also super important to me, I want them to know that I can be trusted and that their children are in good hands! Nurturing and caring for children is certainly one of my passions and developing relationships with the entire family is super important!

My experience with special needs children...

I worked in a special needs preschool room over the summer working with kids who have autism, down syndrome and general learning disorders! I loved working here and it taught me a lot of good things I will use for my future!

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny parts of nannying is building a relationship with the kids! One of the families I baby sit for has a two girls, now ages 1.5 years old and 4 years old. Most of the time when I get there to start the day and when I leave for the day the girls always give me a huge hug and hold my hand to walk me out to my car! I think its just the sweetest thing and it shows how much love they have for me! I absolutely love these girls and the relationship I have built with the family! I think one of my favorite things about nannying and caring for children is seeing how imaginative and curious they are, its amazing and I love watching the kids I have built a relationship grow and thrive!
