I'm very hands-on with the kids I work with and will be playing and experimenting right along with them! Whether we're playing pretend, building with Legos, getting creative in the kitchen, designing a new fridge masterpiece, or doing some quiet reading on the couch, I can guarantee your kids will be creatively engaged. I'd love to take the kids to museums and the park to run around a bit as well, I think some fresh air is so so important for kids, even if it means we need to bundle up! For your older kids, I'm also a great homework helper (but not a homework doer, your young learners will definitely be responsible for taking the lead on their assignments)! You can rest assured that you'll come home to finished assignments and a clean house.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I highly prioritize nurturing kids' natural sense of play by feeding their curiosity and creativity. Whether we're making a recipe together or getting our hands dirty doing a glittery craft (which I'll clean up so well you won't even know we did it) or playing a storytelling game, I want your kids to feel free to try things and enjoy the process. I also think kids benefit from having space to think and do rather than just be "entertained" and I like to protect some time each day for playing and daydreaming away from screens.
