Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I am a cheer coach for Livermore junior football league and have coached girls from 5-13. I’ve also babysat kids from 1-10 years old. Including boys and girls. With my child development class we also would go to preschools and get assigned buddies for the school year with the preschoolers. We would do crafts with them and just spend time with them.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Making cookies or cupcakes, watching movies, playing outside with chalk or a kite. Anything they can imagine !
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think it’s important to understand the kids mindsets. To understand why they may have tantrums. I think every kid needs time to get used to someone other than their parents taking care of them so it’s important to make them feel safe and knowing kids mindsets will help you help them.
