Hi, I’m Sophie a 26-year-old master s-level psychology graduate. I hold a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Sociology, and I recently wrapped up all graduate coursework in Mental Health Counselling, focusing on child development, trauma-informed care, and emotional regulation strategies.
For over a decade, I’ve had the joy of working with children from 3 months to 15 years old as a nanny, in afterschool programs. I’ve supported kids with ADHD, autism, learning differences, and trauma histories, always meeting them exactly where they are with patience, creativity, and calm structure.
Whether we’re building obstacle courses at the park, making homemade playdough, learning how to name our feelings, or tackling tricky homework with encouragement and humor.

The most important part of being a nanny is building trust and support between the child and the nanny. With trust the child will be able to grow and be comfortable trying new things knowing if they fail or need help they can come to me to help them and I will support and build on their confidence.
